Things are really falling our way. Looks almost certain Newcastle will be without Ponga. Of course the danger is taking them too lightly because they are without Ponga. But should get a win. The following week, Herbie and Kafusi will probably be back. Hammer probably still another week away though if Fuller plays like that again, Hammer might have to move into centre.

Telegraph reporting Flegler and Lemuelu ready to return this week, and Donoghoe available after serving suspension. You would think the backline would be unchanged for this week's match but there's a bit of a logjam for forward/bench spots - not the sort of problem the Dolphins had last year.
Obviously Flegler comes back as soon as he's available, likely starting with Nicholls to bench (though WB has shown before he doesn't mind starting Nicholls and keeping a bit of firepower on the bench). Not sure about Lemuelu, though. Aitken and Plath can't be dropped on what they've done so far this year and KBrom has been very good since getting back in the side. Kerr and Stone have been very good so they'll keep their spots, but Keeley will likely make way for Nicholls' move to bench. That leaves maybe SOS, Lemuelu, JWal and Donoghoe fighting for the final spot on the bench. It's a pretty strong position to be in, particularly with Kaufusi still to return.

Aitken isn't vacating his spot for Lemuelu. No way!

I rate Keeley. I think Lemuelu is going to playing for Redcliffe for at least a week or two.

Team Tips: Jake Averillo is expected to play despite picking up a knee issue against the Eels. Tom Flegler is likely to return from a shoulder injury, but Herbie Farnworth is still at least a week away. Kurt Donoghoe is available for selection this week after missing the last two games because of a suspension and will likely join the bench as a utility.

Confident we get another win here.

Keeley was good. Got to love selection headaches, the depth is there just 2 seasons in.

They have done a great job

Not only in the forwards but if Fuller plays like that for the next 3 weeks while Hammer is out, how can they drop him?

Well, the team is out and it's another week out for Flegler. Only change is Donoghoe onto the bench for SOS. Lemuelu named on the extended bench

What's wrong with Flegler? He was supposed to be touch and go for not missing any games.

That was only media speculation. He was always going to miss a few games. Also, Herbie is slated to return next week but he'll be out for another fortnight minimum.

Newcastle will be fired up but without Ponga. Should see off their strong opening 20min then put a decent score on them. Then hopefully at least get Flegler back. Kafusi as well though he's not as urgent.

There is no way the club is looking to replace JMK. Not even for Harry Grant. Grant is a better hooker but he's on about twice as much, according to media reports.

Lot of salary cap $$ for a bench player.
