After some adversity earlier in the year, things are really looking us for us now. There will never be a better time to beat North QLD who will be without 2 of their spine and Nanai. A win should entrench us in the top 8 and then onto bigger and better things. If the forwards can hold their own, with Herbie and Katoa playing the way they are, this team shouldn't and probably doesn't fear any other team.

On current form, nobody touches them. But, RL doesn't work that way. It's such a momentum type sport and form can completely disappear. Injuries may come into play eventually. With three forwards out long term and possibly another one (Plath), it will catch up with them. That's not counting future injuries which every team contends with in the bottom third of the season. But, I'll enjoy this form while it lasts. No matter what happens this year, the Dolphins have shown that they will be tough to beat in the years to come.

Like most teams, Phins are perfect one day, shit the next. Or against Canberra, perfect one half, diabolical the next.

Canberra are a good side. They have done it to plenty of teams this year.

Excuses aside, we are getting better as games go by, and I think we don't let that happen as we get to the back end of the year.

This is a big game for us to keep the run in to the top8 going. If we can keep on track. A spot in the finals is ours to lose

Dolphins team:

  1. Jake Averillo
  2. Jamayne Isaako
  3. Max Feagai
  4. Herbie Farnworth
  5. Jack Bostock
  6. Kodi Nikorima
  7. Isaiya Katoa
  8. Francis Molo
  9. Jeremy Marshall-King
  10. Felise Kaufusi
  11. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki
  12. Oryn Keeley
  13. Kurt Donoghoe
  14. Ray Stone

Don't be surprised if there is a late change with Stone starting and Donoghue on the bench.

Trai Fuller has been named for Redcliffe Dolphins in the “all Dolphins” showdown against CQ Capras. James Walsh has switched to Capras.

But how many players of our best 17 are we missing? But they are for sure missing some quality players so it's one we should win.

5 starters missing Hammer, Flegler, Saifiti, Gilbert and Plath and Fuller who's usually the backup for Hammer has only played 100 minutes of football upon return from ACL. All the rest missing are backup players including Bromwich and Sua.

Right now a Dolphins best 17 all fit would look like 1-7 how it's been most of the year plus 8 Saifiti 9 JMK 10 Flegler 11 Kuli 12 Gilbert 13 Plath 14 Donoghoe 15 Lemuelu 16 Kaufusi 17 Kerr/Molo/Nicholls 18 Fuller

As far as the number unavailable goes, it's not too bad. It's the quality of those unavailable.

That's the difference it's the absolute quality of those missing. As much as I support Bulldogs I did shoot down many of their fans who said we had 10 out the other week those 10 included backup players and squad players it's like someone saying Bromwich, Sua, Walsh and Jackson were out as well whuch they all were that week.
