Jake Averillo is a player that really needs to go to the next level next year. He's turning 25 and should now be at the peak of his career. I thought he was largely disappointing for the Dolphins in 2024 playing only a handful of good games. He was one of the players overlooked for Round 1 and not in the top team for the two trials so I don't think he had the best pre-season. Averillo really needs to nail this off-season.
His best game ironically was at 5/8 against the Broncos he really cut them to pieces and created so much space for Herbie Farnworth.
At the Bulldogs Averillo played 5/8, fullback and centre with similar success and he was used by Trent Barrett as a halfback with zero success.
Where do you all believe is the best position for Averillo at the Dolphins?
Five-Eighth
Centre
Fullback
With Trai Fuller out for the first half of the season do we move Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow back to fullback or keep him in his best position?
