Last night was wild.

Newcastle at home leading 20-0 and lost 24-20 it wasn't due to a send off or sin bin, it wasn't due to injuries in the game, it wasn't due to any adverse weather conditions and it wasn't to a peak Panthers or Storm side it was to Gold Coast Titans who lost 5 in a row and Hasler was one loss away from the sack.

That was only the entree where do we start with the Brisbane Broncos. They lead 14-0 against an injury hit Souths side, they're in total cruise control, somehow Souths get it to 14-all, Mitchell ices a 49m field goal and the last try right at the end the Broncos absolutely gave up all it needed was a hand on Mitchell and he was tackled.

Broncos as we all know are pampered too, spoiled and get everything on a platter.
I loved Mitchells play on the last tackle of the night. Pretended like he was surrendering as the bell was ringing, Broncos players relaxed and looked to start shaking hands only for Mitchell to barge over. Funny stuff. I haven't checked but I imagine that didn't go down well at all in BroncosHQ.

I don't really care who wins out of Canberra and Canterbury but I hope this is finally enough for Matt to stop lecturing us about how good Canterbury is.

32 unanswered points in the second half and supreme fitness levels. Gus said recently the Bulldogs train/play 6 days a week and they’re over powering sides. Only one bad day and two bad halves so far this year. I was at the game in Canberra and I said all we need is the first try after half time and it came.

This weekend Mitchell and Crichton have taken the stakes to another level.

The debate is over about the best centre in the NRL today it’s Crichton by many miles.

It’s not rocket science what Phil Gould has done at Canterbury. He went and found players who were willing to train 6 days a week and be prepared to work upwards of 10 hours a day at training. Those who didn’t comply were sent packing. He also found a way to have a squad of incredible depth that goes way beyond the top 36 and they all train full time so they’re NRL ready. No club comes close to the Bulldogs for their fitness, training levels, connection and spirit. This is why they come from so many situations where they look lost and why their fans are so engaged into them because they work so much harder for their success.

A bit off topic but we are now ahead of Broncos on the competition table. It's a big deal. The best young players choosing us instead the Broncos.
Broncos demise has been an absolute delight to watch

Madge, Barrett and Teo all failed there.

Haas should test the market and earn a massive pay day. Like Flegler and Herbie an odd one out in the Walsh Mam style culture.

He went and found players is one way to say it. He outbid multiple other teams for several players is more accurate.

But what "success" are you talking about? Did you see what happened to them last game?
