    Is that confirmed? I know it was against the Dragons midway through the season but the recovery time for an ACL is generally 9 months. He should be looking at something like full contact training after Xmas/New Year and back for round 1.

    I see your point but the form Plath showed when Gilbert was injured then the form Donoghue showed when Plath and Gilbert were injured, I think Donoghue has to be in the 17.     You have a good memory. I remember that game I think in 2023. They were without Ponga and we were dominating but bombed literally about 5 tries and lost by 1 or 2 points. It turned out to be vital in the context of making, or in the end, not making the finals.

    They had an injury toll even worse than us last year. Including Ponga out for most of the season. Take arguably the ebst player in the game out of any team and it will struggle. I'm not saying I think they will be good. I don't think they will make the 8. But I doubt they will be close to the spoon.
