    Recruitment and Retention for 2028

I don't know him personally but I've heard from a few people, "he isn't a talker". If that means anything more than, "He's too quiet to be a captain", it's pure speculation on my part. TBH, it's a bit depressing but it looks to me we are going to lose Herbie and Bostock.......

He's renowned for, "not being a talker". That might be a code word for difficult personality. Otherwise he was a perfect candidate for C.

In the modern game, are wingers more valuble than centres?

You think Dragons will be easy beats next season? in the back half of last season they weren't and I rate Niko and Drinkwater.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

I think Bostock might want a bit more than that. Herbie for 1,2 mil? I guess that will be the new norm for the best centres and about 1.6 for the best halfbacks.

Matt didn't suggest they will offer a centre the same as a halfback.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

Officially they aren't allowed to until November 1st but I get what you are saying. It seems no clubs are scrambling after his signature. With the cap rising as it is, he's worth 1 mil max. Not the 1.4 he's said to be asking for. Though if he goes to PNG, around 750k is equivalent to 1.4 mil for...

He, a centre, won't be offered as much as Walker, a halfback.

That's disappointing. I guess that means Herbie is going there. Nevermind the fact the Roosters are supposed to have not even talked to him.

I never said he's leaving. Though I think we will lose one of Hammer, Herbie or Bostock. I'm just saying I'm sure whatever his brother in law wants doesn't enter into his calculations. Why would it?

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

You don't think Bostock will leave his wittle brafer in law here all by his pwor wittle self? I don't think what his "adult" brother in law or "adult" sister want even enters into his calculations.

I wouldn't write off Williams just yet but yeah, even with Ray Stone moving on, Knowles is at best 3rd best lock at the club. But I doubt even 3rd. Kaufusi is still on the books for next year, Isn't he?

Achieve Plath or Donoghue starting at lock, so we have impact from the opening whistle, and hopefully not having to drop Knowles.

It'll be interesting to see what he does with Knowles. Surely has to tell him to eat a lot and spend some extra time in the gym because he's trying his hand at prop next season.

Has to be Walker even though he was pretty poor because Dearden is a 5/8.

I'm not a hater. Far from it. I've said over and over, when he played for Canberra he was one of if not the best halfback in the competition. I just have doubts over his ability as a 5/8 at this stage of his career. I hope he proves me wrong.

I just hope we don't lose him and Herbie but I think have to lose one. Can any team afford two centres on a mil or more a season?

Pretty! Though that's kickboxing, not MMA.

Player Trivia - Who am I?

Very long-shot though he seems to be serious about it. I mean, about being a pro MMA fighter. He could have surely gotten an offer from a club to continue his NRL career.
