    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

I'm still not sold on Bostock being the future. He's better than he was sure but unless hes on a very very slow burn rise the guy has peaked. Hammer i've never thought was a fullback.

I wasn't sure how many if any were at lower levels. but both NRL teams are basically basket cases. The RFL did something similar. they merged Sheffield and Huddersfield in order save Huddersfield from oblivion due to the fact the game started in Huddersfield and no more they almost immediately...

Has any 'merged' team really gone on to have a solid basis? All i hear is this half of this board doesn't talk to or like the other half. It's no wonder teams struggle to move forwards in a cohesive manner when the top suits are actively working against each other.

He's worth more. He's probably the worlds best centre and makes shit happen when there is nothing going on. He is a once in a generation player Fullback money is totally reasonable for that level of talent and ability.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

I gotta admit i agree. I'm not sure where or who will take him. Bateman is headed back to the UK so its possible he could go and fill there or maybe head home. Hes been solid but i can't say he's been stand out.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

We will wait and see, I've heard the NRL is trialling the alternative KO rule this year in dead rubber games to stop the blowout scores and momentum. The only reason they happen is the 6 again being so loose. If they really wanted to slow the game down they would dial the 6 again back.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

Haas is a freak, he's just under 120kg and can do 80 mins where needed and doesn't really drop off much at the end of it. AFB and Collins again short stint players and with the game getting quicker those stints will get shorter unless they shed weight to help their fitness. Maybe not right now...

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

I'd say flegler. the way the game is going i don't see big forwards being a thing. If this trial of the change to the KO rule sticks it proves they are going to keep the ultra high 6 again rate. The game is basically becoming 2x 40 min bleep tests.

On a separate note. PNG have signed 3 guys out of the London Broncos who are in the uk championship. My team has played them 3 times this year so i've had a decent look at them. Gairo Voro (standoff what you lot call 5/8) Finley Glare (hooker/halves), and Morea Morea (fullback) Of this 3 Morea...

I have to say i am shielded a lot over here from the off field antics of NRL players. I don't do Social media, I watch the games on the watchnrl app listen to some podcasts etc and all the news i hear is obviously UK based. But from the very little I've heard I wouldn't touch Jarome Luai with a...

Round 22: Dolphins vs St George Illawarra Dragons, July 31st.

I said a while back on here that the game has changed in the last few years. I think it was about having Donga, plath stone and Knowles. Or possibly why Cotter works well at SO but is average at club. The future of the game appears to be smaller more mobile middles that can do long mins. Cotter...

Odds on him finishing the contract? I think he'll realise it was a mistake that the overs are not worth it and get a release.
