Round 2: Dolphins vs Gold Coast

They got hot for eight weeks on the back of their dynamic #1. They looked ordinary during every game of the finals, but Walsh somehow dragged them back every single time. Can he do that again? Only time will tell. If he can't, the Broncos will struggle to make the playoffs.

Round 2: Dolphins vs Gold Coast

Saifiti is nowhere near a return. Donga will be back possibly in Rd 3 (at the very earliest). Plath will be named on the bench at the expense of ?????. Trai Fuller considering an immediate move to ESL.

Round 1: Dolphins vs South Sydney

41% possession, 31% territory, 39 MT (Sths 19), 67% CR, lost the PC/RI count, but still had a sniff to win that game. That's the sort of team the Dolphins are. They can score from anywhere, but can't defend to save their lives. Donga and Plath will shore up the middle and the return of Molo...

Round 1: Dolphins vs South Sydney

A total mismatch here. Basic errors, missed tackles, penalties, ruck infringements, just some dumb play. Gilbert, Knowles, Schneider, all terrible. Certainly need Donga and Plath to shore up that middle. Gaps everywhere. This could get ugly.

Round 1: Dolphins vs South Sydney

Kayo Stadium is a mess. Thankfully, Suncorp has better drainage. It will still be extremely trying conditions.

Round 1: Dolphins vs South Sydney

Two teams who were severely affected by injury in '25 (especially Souths) and two teams who most pundits feel are a huge chance of a playoff spot in '26. The Dolphins still feeling the effects of the casualty and suspension curse with a couple of "carry overs" and a couple of fresh concerns...

    2026 Ladder Predictions.

We are on the eve of another NRL season. A season that is filled with positive anticipation from the members of this group. Here's my lame attempt at predicting how the ladder will look six months from now. 1 Sydney 2 Penrith 3 Melbourne 4 Canberra 5 Cronulla 6 Souths 7 Dolphins 8...

    2026 pre-season

Tbf, three of their tries occurred when the Dolphins were short-handed. It was also the same time that the younger guys were getting their stints. The same young guys that snatched victory in the last ten minutes. I'm not saying there isn't defensive issues because there definitely is (along...

    2026 Squad

Frankie Molo is staring down a three week vacation. It's a shame because he was excellent last night except for that one brainless indiscretion. 2026 is shaping up to be another season where we will fail to see the full side on the park (or even close). Currently eight players on the injury list...

Whats the biggest blowout score line you've seen in person

Bris 76 Halifax 0, 1997 SL WCC at ANZ Stadium. There couldn't have been more than ten thousand fans there. Until that season, I wasn't aware of the enormous gap between Australian and British rugby league. That season was farcical. A really bad period for the sport.

    Club DNA

It is 100% true. The player was Mick Devere. WB said that he had lost the "fire" in his eyes and wasn't as committed as he once was.
