Recruitment for next year is pretty much done already.

Round 13: Dolphins v Canberra Raiders

TBH, the conditions didn't suit him but Fuller was a shadow of the player who played a few weeks ago. I'm not sure how long Jesse is out for but if we get Flegler back, I don't see where he could fit into the 17 anyway.

Round 13: Dolphins v Canberra Raiders

Yep. A few underwhelming games and one that got away. All since Wayne decided he was going to Souffs. No excuse for us but it is something.

Round 13: Dolphins v Canberra Raiders

Your favorite player Bostock really has too many mistakes in him at this stage of his career.

Round 13: Dolphins v Canberra Raiders

The Dolphins have been forced into a halves reshuffle after five-eighth Kodi Nikorima was ruled out of Saturday’s clash with the Raiders due to a minor calf injury. Anthony Milford is promoted off the bench to partner Isaiya Katoa, the 29-year-old starting his first game of the season as the...

Round 13: Dolphins v Canberra Raiders

I'm going to go a bit crazy again. I did against the Tigers and almost came back to bite us. Canberra have a stack of Pommies and Kiwis but I think only 1 Origin player so it's going to require a big game from us. First since giving Parra a caning up in Darwin. Dolphins by 20 MoM = Fuller First...

Do you support Warrington? The final is still a few months away, isn't it?

Round 13: Dolphins v Canberra Raiders

Pretty good team. Especially the forwards with 2 of our big guns out and Kafusi in Origin. Not sure what value Milf brings to the bench but good luck to him anyway. If he gets any game time.

Round 12- Dolphins v NZ Warriors

I usually don't give out 3-2-1 for a losing team. Good news about Flegler if true. Kenny Bromwich is no longer first grade standard. Anyway, I'll go with: 3. Aitken Over 100 run metres and 50 tackles. Only 2 misses. Very impressive. 2. Herbie 1. Plath Isaako had two good finishes but apart...

Round 12- Dolphins v NZ Warriors

Dominated. I said earlier in the week I don't think being without AFB will harm them. I think he isn't getting on with the rest of the team. That last part is 100% guesswork but they certainly weren't harmed being without him.

    Recruitment and retention

I don't know what happened with the Dragons but he left Newcastle is an incredibly bad mess. But he was hired for different reasons. He was hired by Newcastle to win a comp. He went close in his second year. Lost in the major semi final to red hot Roosters. After that the only way was down...

Round 12- Dolphins v NZ Warriors

I don't believe that thing with AFB is due to "missing the team song" for a minute. I think he's Matt Lodge 2.0. Very good prop but teammates can't stand him. This bloke was cut by the Dragons very early in his career because he plead guilty to beating his GF. Dolphins by 2 (they will be...

Magic Round (11) vs Wests Tigers

3 Aitken 2 JMK 1 Hammer Hammer because I don't know who else to give it to. He had that one line break where he passed to the Tigers player and the runaway try where he just had to catch and run. Otherwise wasn't that good. Don't remember him making any mistakes. Hammer, Katoa and Kodi should...

    Recruitment and retention

Some are, most aren't. Maybe Jensen will be solid wherever he goes but I think the Dolphins already have a number of those kind of players. We should be looking for outstanding young props yet to play NRL.

    Recruitment and retention

True. But much more often, fringe NRL players cease being fringe NRL players and become good QLD Cup players.
  18. Jetty

    Recruitment and retention

Probably not but we don't have to help them by taking over the contract of their fringe first grade prop.

    Recruitment and retention

Where did you hear it? Why would we want him? So they can lock up one of thier good young props? No thanks. We will take one of them instead.

    Injury and suspension updates

    Surely he will be retained.
