    2026 Squad

To be aggressive like Ray Stone is good. But there were a couple of times last season where I just had to shake my head in regard to Kaufusi. The game against the Warriors which we ended up winning with a last minute try was the point where I went off Kaufusi. In a vital game, with us a couple...

Forgot about him. If at any stage the pack is at full strength, wouldn't surprise me if Kaufusi is (C) of Redcliffe. He let us down with his ridiculous ill discipline a few times last season.

Doesn't it mean a smaller, more mobile 4th prop, like Tom Gilbert, would compliment the other 3 well?

Yes but why? Why can't they get it together? In previous iterations Broncos held too much power in SE QLD and sought to destroy competitors but GC have had ample time to get it together. But it's fine. Don't really care any more. Though I still hope they beat everyone but us. Which is of course...

I see both of you with Tigers and Dragons and raise you with Gold Coast Titans!

Thanks @2285. How didn't I notice that (discussion vs disscussion) for so long?! I think you chose a good team. We have a serious team, coach and head office. Though I always liked Benji as a player. I hope things turn out well for him. Just not so well it negatively effects us.

So the club is basically owned by Wests? Is that what it's about? Wests trying to exert the level of control they pay for?

Is that confirmed? I know it was against the Dragons midway through the season but the recovery time for an ACL is generally 9 months. He should be looking at something like full contact training after Xmas/New Year and back for round 1.

Remember how good Plath was in 2024. Though this season he started in the backrow where the struggled and then was injured shortly after Woolf gave up on that.

I like him as a player a lot but we have so many good locks. I was surprised Plath was such a good replacement for Gilbert and then Donoghue was such a good replacement for Gilbert and Plath. Now we have Knowles as well! A crazy number of locks IMO but am interested to see what Woolf does with...

I'm a Ray Stone fan but I don't see how he plays NRL next year with us barring an injury crisis.

They say this was more about international geopolitics more than anything. Like the whole world bar US-Canada, US-UK, US-Mexico, Argentina-Brazil, and EU countries trade with each other, China is PNGs largest trading partner and growing. They say this (NRL expansion) is due to the desire to...

Hmmmm it's convenient I guess. If one works in the city it's a 10 min bicycle ride. As for the $10.00 for a regular coffee, coffee shops, even if I could afford that, I would hate it. Though there is an excellent bottle shop nearby which sells Japanese and German beer and more. Japanese beer is...

Sounds like a plan but not sure. I'm from the area but live in West End now for work reasons. I work in logistics. Often have to work based on cargo ships and tankers coming and going and that's more a guesstimate. More than 50% of the time they arrive early (due to calm seas) or late (due to...

Surprised he is being let go but according to Woolf, he might have fallen behind Zac Graton and/or Lewis Symonds and maybe Knowles as well. I actually don't really know about Knowles at all. He was already behind Lemuelu and Finefuiaki. I just hope he isn't planning to play Plath or Gilbert in...

I see your point but the form Plath showed when Gilbert was injured then the form Donoghue showed when Plath and Gilbert were injured, I think Donoghue has to be in the 17. He is a genuine utility so I think #14 is perfect. Leave it to Plath, Gilbert and Knowles to fight it out for 2 more spots...

I thought Gilbert to prop, Plath to lock, Donoghue to #14 and Knowls...... no idea really.

Personally I don't see Plath as much of a utility nowadays. Seems more like a specialist lock.

I think everyone got Donoghue wrong except for you. Based on the form he showed under Wayne, I think our opinions were correct. But obviously Woolf unlocked something. Needs to back it up next season.
