    Best 17 in 2026

For anyone who blocks Spybook, aka facebook as I do, the 4 are Katoa, Donoghue. Hammer and Herbie. Not sure how Hammer made that list. He had a good year but I think very far from our best. Herbie was outstanding, period. Donoghue was a model of being consistently good. Katoa had a field day...

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

This has been going on for a while. Niko has the occasional blinder. Like in the last round against Canberra's reserve grade team and Averillo has proven inconsistent at 5/8 though if he had a full off season training at 5/8 and then a good number of games there, starting in the trials, who...

    Best 17 in 2026

I don't think there is any debate about that. His career as an edge backrower was well and truly over at the end of the 2024 season.

Fuis as in Kaufusi? He's been prop all this season. From round 1.

    Best 17 in 2026

Finefeuiaki will go to prop????? He won't. The first choice prop rotation will be Flegler, Saifiti, Kaufusi, Molo. If or when one of those 3 is out, Rasmussen or Tawha or or Jackson. Then Stone or Gilbert being turned into lightweight props. Might be a bit hard for Stone. He might find it hard...

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed by this. Shouldn't have let them score 24.

Not yet. Hopefully after another pre-season of training and weights he will be.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

Letting the Canberra NSW Cup team score 22 and counting is simply unacceptable! With defence like this, we definitely didn't deserve to be in the finals.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

Keeley has been really poor in the last 1/3 of the season.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

Canberra second try was too easy as well. A big off season for defensive training.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

That's disappointing to lt in that try.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

In the event of injury or suspension anywhere in the backline, Averillo will be right in. So even if he isn't in the best 17, he'll see plenty of first grade but I think this might be right. No doubt at all Fuller's attack is outstanding but his defence and bomb defusal is an issue.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

Just need a bit of luck with injuries or lack of. Though as I keep saying, the depth that has emerged this year due to the injuries is going to put us in good stead next year.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

That's it. We done for the year. Hopefully a good, entertaining win on Sunday then lets get our best team on the field and firing from round 1 next year.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

This is gonna be a cricket score unless Souths can turn things around very quickly.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

Depends on how much they lose by.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

Would almost be like a dream come true (almost. I'm not quite that into it:oops:). But I'm not getting my hopes up. I think Roosters are going to win by about 20 and would be more if Roosters don't take a few key players off well before fulltime allowing Souths a couple of consolation tries.

    Final Round: Dolphins vs Canberra

It will be such a let down if good ol Wayne can't conjure up and upset for us. If he wants to. He's ruthless and I think he loves the whole "Bennett Curse" thing. Wouldn't surprise me if he secretly wants Roosters to win even with the bad blood between the two clubs.

    2025 Redcliffe Dolphins Thread

And there was a familiar face on the bench for the Dolphins in their 34-16 win over Mackay Cutters — Karl Oloapu. The 20-year-old was released from his contract with the Bulldogs after suffering a career-threatening neck injury. Oloapu moved home to live with his family in Redcliffe and just...
