    Why The Dolphins?

If Ponga stays fit, they'll probably make the 8. Or 50-50 chance. He was injured for so much of last season people have forgotten how good he is.

    Why The Dolphins?

Would you please stop calling him that? He made clear he doesn't like it. It's like grade 4 or 5 calling each other names. And @mr_c, you don't rate Donoghue? Fair enough. Lets wait and see if he can put 2 good seasons in a row together. But @257Matt gets pissed by you constantly downplaying...

Too bad this. I really wanted to him an entire off season and then at least the trials as a 5/8 but I'm sure Woolf knows his game better than me. DOLPHINS STAR LINKED WITH IMMEDIATE EXIT Dolphins star Jake Averillo has reportedly been linked with an immediate switch to the English Super League...

    Why The Dolphins?

I live in the area. Previously supported GC. Was also happy to jump ship. For the life of me, I can't understand why GC have been so bad for so long.

I haven't met anyone who understands what the purpose of recruiting Williams was. He was a very good playmaking halfback 5 years ago but given we already have exactly the kind of halfback Williams was..... All I can say is that I'm looking forward to seeing what Woolf has in mind.

Dolphins are my team, 110% but I still have a soft spot for the Titans. Since he stopped continuously telling us how good the Bulldogs are, don't you think Matt has some good insights? I don't have time to follow what's going on in QLD Cup at all. So I greatly appreciate Matt telling us what's...

I agree but he's not that young anymore. Is he 24 next season? Time to step up and make a name for himself or fade out.

When the injuries became too much, Oryn seemed to throw in the towel a bit. Didn't want to step up and be a forward leader. Lacked the confidence perhaps. It was disappointing but perhaps understandable. We need him at 100% next year. Running around with Tom Gilbert tackling everything that...

    2026 Squad

Gus didn't set up anything. Ivan Cleary is a master coach. I get how they can doubt Gilbert getting through a lot of games but no reason to think Flegler won't play a lot of games. But after some of the defensive displays last season, I can understand them not really rating us.

Manly are in a transition period. Jake and Tom Trbojevic are shadows of the players they were a few years ago. I'm baffled how they have the Sharks in second place! Why? Penrith will continue to slide. A few of their big guns are slipping. Yeo, Martin and Edwards. But I think still make the...

I don't think criticism = blind hate. Even @mr_c had a lot of people offside with his criticism of Katoa but I never considered it "blind hate". He just rated SOS.

I like him too. He showed in the first half of the season he belongs in the NRL. But there times in the second half of the season where I started having doubts. He really seemed to go missing. His game against the Broncos was insipid and I think he followed it up against the Roosters. Or might...

He was good in the first half of the year. Check his stats for the second half. Was really bad. Some games only running for 20-30m in a few games. That is just laughable for a backrower not injured. Or in the last round against Canberra, played 80 min, made 19 tackles and missed 5. Is it...

    2026 Squad

Basically, Wayne was tasked with the job not of bringing about success but creating the conditions where we could have sustained success. Not sure how much Woolf had to do with it but whoever it was set us up pretty well. Against a very hostile Broncos. Remember they agree to release Karl Oloapu...

    new sponsor

Nothing will beat the sponsor the NRL rejected as far as coolness goes but this is really a good looking jersey. Though it will be a problem when we play St. George, won't it?
