    Injury and suspension updates

Not in the clear quite yet but looking positive.

    Recruitment and retention

I know. Was just wondering if he's good enough for our team to promote him from our feeder club but I guess not. Holmes is also decent but well past his best so not good enough for our team.

    Recruitment and retention

Our feeder club Is there anyone else in their top 30 we can promote? Su'a maybe? Not really. I'd prefer Lemuelu, Finefuiaki and Keeley. Kerr has done a good job for us and so has Frank Molo but obviously won't need him next year.

    Panthers trainer

If it was just a one off thing, I'd say it was an accident but Penrith trainers have a long history of antics like this.

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

Herbie is of course a massive loss but if Nonu is selected to take his place...... looking forward to seeing how he goes.

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

I think after a bad year last year, they've had a remarkably good year with injuries. So now we'll be without Herbie and probably Kaufusi (again!) I wonder if Nonu is going to debut. He was 18th man so you'd have to think he will. I presume Hola will come in for Kaufusi and I think Kaufusi may...

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

It was a long-standing agreement that Woolf would take over this year. Otherwise Woolf wouldn't have agreed to come back from England.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

How that 'Bennett curse" looking now? I hope Souths win the spoon. Though TBH, Wayne set us up well for sustained success.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

Better team won. Now I can breath again.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

Not as good as I expected but take the lead into the break, get reorganised, then come back and dominate the second half.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

Looks like it's not a 3 or 4 week thing like for Kodi. More like 8 or 9.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

1 from 3 but looks like Phins by 14 is way too optImistic..... for NZ.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

Dolphins by 14 (couple of consolation tries to NZ.) FTS: Herbie MoM: Herbie Since Matt said Crighton was the best centre since Reg Gasnier, maybe before, Herbie has gone to another level.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

JMK needs a rest to be really good.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

This is what I'd do. Might be a good rehearsal for next year if Averillo continues to play well at 5/8.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

TBH, as a player I rate Averillo but as a winger, I prefer Naufahu. Averillo has a good passing game. This is his main strength.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

Dolphins absolutely will not make a play for Haas unless he's willing to come to us for about half what he could get elsewhere. We have Flegler, Saifiti, Molo and a couple of highly talented young props.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

I don't mean to criticise him at all but I just think he isn't a really good fit in our team with the unexpected rise of Plath last year and unexpected rise of Donoghue this year.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

Willison is good but with Saifiti, Frank Molo and Flegler fit, I think we need a budget prop like Kerr or a young prop, yet to prove himself like like Tawha or Hola. Mariner also a good player but how good has Isaako been this year? And he's not replacing Bostock if he comes back next year...

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

Broncos could do with a hardhead like Tom Gilbert. He might be superflous to our needs as well with Plath and Donoghue. But we'll drive a VERY hard bargain. Thing is, apart from Haas, who would we want from them?
