    2024 squad and best 17

Amongst the current squad, my lineup would look like this. Keep in mind, I do think the roster will change a bit with Milf, Aitken, Edrick and Jennings all rumoured to be moving on. 1 Hammer 2 Isaako 3 Herbie 4 Val 5 Nui 6 Katoa 7 KNik 8 Flegler 9 JMK 10 J Bromwich 11 Kaufusi 12 Lemuelu 13...

The Donkeys are Braying: Rivalry with the Broncos

They need to adopt an expansion draft. Every existing team is allowed to protect 25 players leaving a selection 85 players for the new club to choose from.

Round 27: Dolphins vs New Zealand Warriors

Wow!!!! 10 linebreaks already. Definitely a Dolphin record but I wonder what the NRL record is for LB's by HT. I've never seen 10 before.

Round 27: Dolphins vs New Zealand Warriors

SOS stinking it up yet again. Hopefully a competent #7 found/developed during the off season.

Round 27: Dolphins vs New Zealand Warriors

Ray Stone would be in there somewhere.

Round 26: Dolphins vs North Queensland Cowboys

The ref deemed it accidental but Feldt needs to be cautioned about his jumping style. He's going to take an eye out one day. The last thing SOS needed last night was a kick in the mouth. He needs a few kicks up the backside though.

Round 26: Dolphins vs North Queensland Cowboys

Niko leads the team in try assists (by far), line break assists (by far) , 40/20's, mtrs per kick average and forced restarts. You may not think that he's a playmaker but he's the closest thing to it in the Dolphin camp. He's the team MVP by a hell of a distance.

Round 26: Dolphins vs North Queensland Cowboys

The edge defense is deplorable as per usual. Our forwards are showing their age yet again and SOS looks foolish out there. Plenty of work to be done in the off season.

Round 25: Dolphins vs Wests Tigers

Toss a coin for this one although Wests look more dangerous. Unsurprisingly, it's not a high standard match.

Round 25: Dolphins vs Wests Tigers

Trai Fuller to make his debut. I haven't heard what position he will slot into but he is definitely in the 17.

    2024 team

You can scratch big Herman from your team now. Jake Averillo will probably secure a spot above Val or Bostock. Mason Teague should secure a more regular role. It will be interesting to see what "tinkering" is done during the off season. WB doesn't sit on his hands. He'll want a competitive team...

Round 25: Dolphins vs Wests Tigers

With the massive casualty list plaguing the Dolphins, this weekend's lineup may look like this: 1 Kodi Nikorima 2 Jamayne Isaako 3 Euan Aitken ??? 4 Val Te Whare 5 Tesi Niu 6 Anthony Milford 7 Sean O'Sullivan 8 Jesse Bromwich 9 Harry Graham 10 Herman Ese’ese 11 Poasa Faamausili 12 Jarrod...

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

Yep, he isn't the answer. There is a reason why he has bounced around to five different clubs by the age of 24. An able backup but nowhere near the skill level required to hold down a #1 HB job. It's a real shame because he is a great clubman and knows the game inside out. He reminds me a bit of...

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

He keeps picking him because he is the only organiser in the squad. He has a great footy brain but just doesn't have the skill levels to implement anything. I'm doubtful that he'll be a regular next year as they will go nowhere with him steering the ship.

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

SOS is deplorable. I feel sorry for him. They need to sort out their halves situation for next year and this park footballer cannot be anywhere near the joint.

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

The Roosters have far more to play for and have a vastly superior lineup. This game won't be close.

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

Josh Kerr has been especially disappointing. He's got a big lean frame but is very slow and seems a bit off the pace. He doesn't get his hands dirty enough either. Maybe Bennett can make a useful player out of him.

Round 23: Dolphins vs Newcastle Knights

The aging forward pack was always going to be an issue this year. It will be next year as well unless there are numerous "taps on the shoulder" or if enough of the younger brigade step up. They will be a better side next year but nowhere near a playoff certainty.

Round 23: Dolphins vs Newcastle Knights

He's probably more disappointed in his players rather than the ref. They continue to drop off tackles, make basic errors and continue to have a lack of situational awareness. WB hates losing as much as the next guy and his pressers occasionally portray that.
