Round 24: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

The Dolphins are heavily favoured tonight as they were when a winless and coachless Manly cruised into Kayo and scored 52 points before a reply came. But, Manly are on life support with a 5 game (-74) losing streak and the Dolphins are playoff bound and on an 11-2 (+129) run. Motivation alone should secure the two points v a side with a very ordinary forward pack. But, teams fire up when their season is threatened and this will not be an easy contest in foreign territory.

Dolphins by 8
FTS- Cobbo
MOTM- Plath.

I'm the one who said he was bad and the stats prove that. He is the least ranked amongst all NRL forwards in tackle efficiency and metres gained. He is a tough nut, I'll give him that, but he is totally out of his element as a NRL player.
I didn't know he was going that badly. I just knew the team is much better when Plath or Donoghue is the lock.

No, no. no! Had to keep the ball and go for a try instead of taking the 2.

These 6 agains are becoming a joke. I'd love to see the stats as to which teams get them and when. I swear one team gets a run on them for one half then the other gets them.

Katoa missing Donga big time like Cleary missed Yeo last night

Is Donoghue so important to the attack? TBH, it hasn't been a great game so far.

First half standouts:
  • Fin
  • JMK
  • Hammer
