Round 9 vs Melbourne Storm

Hard to nominate any first half standouts. Seems like everyone who has done something good has also made a bad mistake. But I'll go with:

3. Herbie
2. Gilbert
1. Bostock

Even if they get away with this one, nothing has changed. They are a weak footy side and Gilbert is a total liability when on the field. He is a "fuck up" machine.

Has some nice carries and a lot of good tackles but a lot of mistakes as well.

He only made one mistake in the first half, didn't he? It was a bad one but compared to a minor one, it's the same outcome.

Good win despite a diabolical first half. Going to to need to be better against the top teams but with a genuine dummy half I think we can be much better.
 
The Dolphins did what they needed to do. A much cleaner second half with only two errors. They totally dominated the second stanza despite being short-handed for 10 minutes. The Dolphins ended up with 58% possession and 61% territory and a whopping 700 running metres more than the opposition. An 8-2 LB count. The score didn't blow out because of the very wet conditions. I'm mostly satisfied with that victory. Knik and JMK to return on Thursday where they'll need to prevail against a woeful Doggie side.

I know we won. But melbourne had absolutely nothing. We again had errors everywhere. The gane plan, should have been kick to the wings, wasnt seen in the first half. And our attack was clunky, other then broken play or kicking to Bostock.

We need to improve on that against sidd who arent down and out like Melbourne

you think who they lost , and look at previous years when they loose key guys it took season to rebuild also few the law changes have killed how team plays similar to raiders

Get some rest. Our season is back on. But can't afford another losing streak.
