Your assessment of Young is spot on in my eyes.

Him and his father sum up the old boy attitude there. And all the trouble that will never change. The irony of them hiring Flanno and now his son cant be dropped from the 7 position. That is the issue in a nutshell that is throughout the whole organisation.

He did play for the Dragons back in the day as well. So he has his own connections. I also have a friend that played for Parramatta back when he played there.

It's kind of funny. It seems everyone in the media is calling out the nepotism along with every St. George Illawarra supporter but coach Flanagan just doesn't care. In both their defence, every opposition coach is telling Flanagan his boy is a superstar and coach Flanagan laps it up

. He's obviously not an idiot but he's so invested in his boy playing first grade rugby league he can't imagine rival coaches don't want his team to do well.

Please pass on to St. George Illawarra supporters from me, Kyle Flanagan is a superstar, probably the best halfback or 5/8 in the game and if he was on the market, every other club would be clamouring for his services

. Just don't mention the Dolphins please

. In a year or two, we are going need a new 5/8 and I wouldn't want St. George supporters to tell us to sign Kyle Flanagan

Once upon he was a good coach. The Sharks premiership was PEDs and salary cap tainted. It's something that annoys me. The NRL admits they were over the cap but were "compliant on GF day". So they cheated to make the GF? It's even worse than cheating on GF day. But Flanagan was still a good coach. Not up there with Cleary, Bellamy, Wayne but still good. It's just that's he's lost the plot now.

I listen to ABC Grandstand on a sundays during nrl season Flanagan used to be on he was pretty good to listen to with his insight on the game.

Stephen Dank got banned for life by the NRL, and subsequently is disgraced. He was involved with Essendon as well.

The players like Gallen signed documents. Flanno got banned for 12 months.

So whilst Flanno, rightfully, got punished, others suffered as well, it wasn't just him.

If I were in charge of the NRL I would have banned Flanno for life as well. Cheating is cheating. I would have also kicked the Bulldogs out of the comp as well as Melbourne. But that's just me. Imagine if all these cheats had been kicked out, how many clubs do you think will cheat in the future? As we are now, we always wonder which clubs are cheating? and you have clubs obviously cheating, with not even a question.

the scarey thing is who are cheating now we know players use drugs but never get drug tested enough

Did you know Naufahu is going out with Indie Bostock, Jack's sister who plays in their NRLW team? I wonder if in order to keep Cobbo we end up letting either he or Jack go to the Dragons. Remember we have Nonu in the top 30 this year as well. Even if we let Isaako go, still too many quality wingers.

Though doubt they would want to the Dragons to play under Flanagan unless they were offered way more than they could get elsewhere. I saw an interview with him last year. yeah hes dated her for a while ,

end the day , flannos son has had shit teams , to play in pretty hard to be a star in a average side

thats the only reason why ivan didnt want coach nathan and vice versa ( and only reason why panthers agood strong sides )

keyboard warriors that think they no better , none them played pro footy but put boot in any chance ( i hope like hell woolf ( bens son doesnt get same treatment )

I very rarely criticise my team, the Dolphins. When I do you should take note because it's something that deserves criticism.

As for the Flanagan family and the Dragons, it's a hilarious clown show. I expect at some stage this season Flanagan will be ordered from above to drop his son or the new coach will do it and the tears will really start flowing.
