Exactly that's why the club's best forward from 2025 will be one of the first chosen for the opening round 2026 after that is up to performances & attitude like every player.

as i said above won't really matter new recruits injury free players , will see Woolf changing a lot , and as i have said many times guys will still need be used as reserves outside 17 , there lies your problem you not just going put guys like trai n kurt in starting 17 as you deplete your bottom 13 and personally don't see to many that would be strong starters prior to injurys last year not missing out

we get depleted in injurys with trai n kurt in starting 17 we become very weak very quick ( hence why woolf will want some his players out side the 17 to get stronger dynamic he will see whats best for whole team not just few players like george coming in 27 ( and if kodi stays what do they do)

Stronger side with less injuries will see alot more from wollfs coaching style and the team like I heard today on radio. Selwyn. Could be ideal replacement. For jaymane if he doesn't stay

Coming off a bad injury we will be 10 rounds in before he plays a game , definitely in Q cup until round 14-16 we won’t carry Plath and Donaghue together in a full strength team
Is that confirmed? I know it was against the Dragons midway through the season but the recovery time for an ACL is generally 9 months. He should be looking at something like full contact training after Xmas/New Year and back for round 1.

This looks way, way less optimistic than Flegler himself was.

Thomas Flegler - Shoulder

Flegler remains on the long road back from a shoulder injury. Flegler is hopeful of making his return during the 2026 season.

Bostock out for the first 10 weeks is a blow but have plenty of cover for him.
Naufahu 6 tries in 7 NRL games hasn't even been talked about for Round 1 and Fuller won the Dolphins Player of the Match in 3 of the last 4 games some very good coverage depending on who's available and what balance is in place.

Where you get this from?

Just remember positivity isnt click worthy.

Dont believe everything you read. Be selective.

When I was a Dragon, over the years I learnt who to follow. As a Liverpool supporter, David Lynch, Pearce and the likes get info from the club, they are worth following. Others literally surf forums for a rumour and turn it into stories.

I posted on here a while back, a well known journo got found out on Jubilee ave, due to a bait thread.

Dont believe everything that is written.

Its about right for an ACL. Especially a badly graded one.

And for a pace position, you want to be 100% sure with the recovery especially with league where you mix high speed with sideways movement. Id expect them to give him a little longer recovery then your normal acl sufferer

Wests Tigers provide a lot of easy content
Just when it starts to look they might be turning the corner on the field, management drags them right back down.

Regardless, a few more Sydney teams need to relocate (Sharks) or merge.

Its what they want and hope for.

I think the plan is to add new teams in growth markets, where income will be fine for new teams in a one town/team system. From there the lack of talent for teams in saturated markets will mean they don't get any talent and cant afford to pay overs as supporter income is limited due to high competition. Eventually those teams will fall over due to lack of support and regular periods of non-competition.

Wests Tigers are a perfect example. Id suggest the recent turmoil is due to Western Suburbs making a play to just go alone. The Tigers from what I understand don't bring much, where as Western Suburbs leagues is massive. I am not sure though as I am not personally interested. However, for that club, the new generation aren't going to support a team that comes last every year, as a result no income, as a result they just die, and a team in Outer Mongolia, who can provide a political leg up for those in power, will take their place.

The other problem the game has is increasing cost of living, and Rugby League being working class.

With increasing cost, disposable income amongst Leagues core market is reduced. The first thing to go will be going to the game/ buying food at the game, or even the Kayo Sub.

I am sure they have people smart enough to overcome these hurdles with well thought-out plans. I suspect the push for private ownership or NRL owned/back clubs is part of it. The TV rites deal is very important to all this.

Id say the NRL are very lucky the English premier league is in a different time zone, that time barrier to entry, keeps the younger generation from choosing between EPL and NRL keeping viewership high for NRL due to lack of competition to quality sport.

One thing I know is, I see more EPL shirts on young kids in the streets of brisbane, then I do NRL jersey's. And this is NRL heart land.
